The Bouncing Souls + Dave Hause in Madrid

Those who were born in the 80s and early twenties are long, and our heroes noventeros are around forty. Some have left, others have turned to sound, and there are those who make music for children with his wife while maintaining the type of touring with his band all vida.Todo together, more or less, what we saw last night in Madrid .
Presenting his new album, The Bouncing Souls, legendary New Jersey band that for all who were there meant something in adolescence, is these days in Spain. Last night I played the Live Room of the capital. In the poster, also Dave Hause and a last minute addition: No Use for Acoustic, paying homage to the recently deceased singer of No Use for a Name, Tony Sly. In Carabanchel, ten minutes before the doors opened, fell suddenly the flood. Basically, the perfect excuse to get to the room early and enjoy the evening.
And that, at first, we were rather few. No Use For Acoustic, a duo from Madrid who revisits classic punk rock sound, were a treat for the ten or twenty who were there: the first single, with a singer and a bass then versionaron unhurried several issues No Use For a Name before giving way to the main course of the night: Dave Hause.
Did you say something The Loved Ones? Without being especially popular, the fact is that in 2008, when they came to Madrid, opening for NOFX and surprised. Part of the blame lies with the singer: the small but adrenaline Dave Hause, who for two years, playing solo. Among the ten songs of repertoire was room for two new and three of The Loved Ones, so we were looking forward to more. And that "ok, Madrid, your are the best of the Spanish shows," he posted on his facebook shortly after. Besides apologizing ("are idiots") for not spending more for Spain, promised to return. So be it, for his actual creek.
With the room and in tune, but packed full, Bouncing Souls came out. Would fill?, As filled four years ago today NoFx the Riviera? Would they have completed four years ago Rancid Vistalegre Palace hall instead Vistalegre Palace as they did this year? Is the thing "very sick" or is that Bouncing Souls, despite what they are mythical and his great name, were never mass? I consult with people who saw the last time in this room: correct, without strain. Just like last night.
The Bouncing Souls are probably the world's frontman frontman least: slim, dressed in black from top to bottom, Greg Attonito sings "soulless" as someone in the audience told me. Although any of his companions gives many turns in pose, that does not mean bad. On the contrary: in the end to have his grace. And in any case correctly offered Bouncing Souls expected. Half an hour refresher classics of the band, starting with Say Anything, Kids and Heroes and Sing Along Forever to be presented later, gradually, the newly introduced new references Comet: Infidel, Fast Times, Coin Toss Girl, perhaps not become classics but not dislike anyone. Less if, like a gathering of friends, everyone who wanted to could do stage diving or taking the stage to sing with them, and the pogo was below that are cool: Small room. Indeed, there was worldwide with more issues as East Coast Fuck You or generational anthem True Believers, shortly before six or seven encores long to close: Private Radio, Gone or new Baptized and Ship in a Bottle. Behind them, without more, Attonito and company closed a friendly for all, memorable for the most dedicated fans, Saturday night.

Muse - Madness

A few days ago we told you about 'Madness', the latest single from Muse finished not convince us the same way he did that other item entitled 'Survival', which will also included in "The 2nd Law" (2 October). To support this latest single from Matt Bellamy's band just released a colorful music video that was directed by Anthony Mandler, audiovisual reputed that once was behind video size 'When You Were Young' by The Killers or 'National Anthem 'Lana del Rey.

For this occasion Muse have shot of a futuristic aesthetic that is very reminiscent of the work magna Ridley Scott - "Blade Runner" - and other great features other "sci fi" of the 80's. The result is well consistent with the idea that we all have the head of a group that an image always looks edgy, and not to a retrograde and classical.

We recall that Muse will be in concert in Madrid on 20 October. All the information you'll find here: Muse Madrid.

The Black Keys premiered the video for 'Little Black Submarines'

The website of the newspaper El País in Spain has just released the new video for 'Little Black Submarine', latest single from acclaimed LP "El Camino" by The Black Keys. In this clip we enjoyed a strong performance by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney at Springwater Supper Club, a local Nashville, over the years, has become a great icon of the American rocker deeper. Willie Nelson and Townes Van Zandt are just some of the famous people who have played music in the club. You can enjoy the video at this link.

The style and the place chosen for the video recording seamlessly adapt to the surrounding dusty halo 'Little Black Submarines'. We love this song, especially in that stretch in which, after the soft acoustic intro, Dan Auerbach unleashes his delirium guitar with some explosive bursts of rock n 'roll.

Would also like to leave you the direct 'Little Black Submarines' (BBC Radio 1 Live) and to remind you that The Black Keys will drop by Madrid for an exceptional live at the Palacio de los Deportes. More info here: The Black Keys Madrid.
