Months pass and continue as in love as the first day of The Head and The Heart. It's magic: every week I find my time to play quietly self-titled debut album from Binaural still feel like the hard revelation of 2011. I burned both "The Head and The Heart" released under the Sub Pop already looking forward to a new theme to make me vibrate with revitalizing air. That piece in question is entitled 'Virginia' and has been revealed through an acoustic session that Charity, Jon and Josiah made under the Show Me Shows.
Unlike 'Rivers & Roads' or 'Down In The Valley', characterized by the structure of its changes of pace, 'Virginia' is a simple piece that stands out for its exquisite and melodic aura autumn. To some extent this new part could be at a level quite similar to that 'Ever Since' we could enjoy months ago thanks to iTunes which recorded the Sessions in Seattle.
The Head and The Heart are monsters. And surely this is only the beginning of a captivating journey to stardom. 'Virginia' is just the tip of the iceberg of the meteoric adventure that lies ahead.

Rescued several unreleased demos George Harrison in "Early Takes Vol 1"
The premiere of the documentary "Living In The Material World" on George Harrison who led Martin Scorsese (The Departed, Casino) has served for many things. One was the launch of "Early Takes Volume 1", a selection of unreleased demos of former member of the Beatles will be released on May 1 via Hip-O Records.
This first album - so of Volume 1 is sensed to be more compilations - counted from demos songs like 'My Sweet Lord' or 'All Things Must Pass' to versions of Bob Dylan ("Mama You've Been on My Mind ') or even cuts like' I'd Have you Anytime 'that have been made by the other major benchmark in the world of folk. Although still a few days to put up for sale it is already possible to order via Amazon.com as the vinyl edition and the CD edition.

3. I'd Have You Any Time
4. Mama You've Been on My Mind (demo)
5. Let It Be Me

One Tree Hill ends after 9 years of good music
One day. This is the time remaining to be issued via CW the last episode of One Tree Hill, one of the TV series background "teen" that has endured over the guy in the last decade. Or 6 or 7, or 8. 9 were the seasons that the product of Mark Schwahn has remained on the air frame delighting both bizarre as good and varied music.
Nada Surf, Ray LaMontagne, Led Zeppelin, The Perishers, Bon Iver and Band Of Horses are just some of the names of groups that have played throughout the series. If I had to emphasize a quality of its soundtrack that was the great ability who had the responsibility of the soundtrack when groups reveal to issues within months (or years) would eventually become renown in the music scene. Exemplary cases ¿? There is a lot: from Adele ('Hometown Glory') or Huddle Formation to Switchfoot, The Format, or one of those bands that we love magic: Devics.
Both my colleagues in the newsroom Daniel Caccamo and Maite Rico as our collaborator Jessica Ferrerons or I declared ourselves fans of the series so we reckon that this weekend will go up a list of Spotify where you collect the best songs that have sounded in One Tree Hill. We work conscientiously list, word!.
Farewell One Tree Hill! You will be sorely missed. A lot.

Beauty musical (and visual) enjoyed from the green sofa
It happened yesterday evening. I was bored, looking through YouTube videos of Jay Malinowski, when I discovered a few jam sessions that made me much: the Green Couch Sessions.
Much of the magnetism of these "Sessions" comes from the places that the filmmakers have chosen to perform the recordings. Beaches, mountains, railroads, ports, docks, playgrounds ... Practically all existing sites in the state of California (and parts of Canada) have been explored by a group - Green Couch Productions - which stands out as the best in choose places perfect for the mood music Fang, An Horse, Architecture In Helsinki and Ben Fisher.
We leave you with a small selection of some sessions that we have the attention. One of them is the Rykka, could he be a street of pastel color that appears in the recording?.

Catalan sausage and lots of guitars in the opening of the room TZVR
I'm Getting a taste for rock barbecue. If a few weeks ago we put on our boots and musically dining at L'Eclèctic of Torello, with performances by No More Lies, and Turnstile Her Only Presence, among others, our penultimate experience has been in Sant Feliu de Guixols. The excuse was the highly anticipated opening of the new hall on campus TZVR known to all locals as l'escorxador (the slaughterhouse). The granting of this space for two or three years has been possible after reaching an agreement with the city and the goal is to protect, maintain and enhance the musical culture of a place that with time and the work of many bands today leftovers known has earned the status of 'musical epicenter' of the Spanish state.
I guess no need to remember the musical activism Atzavara association, with over 15 years of history, plenty of bowling under his belt and known as the organizers of the legendary Sant Feliu Hardcore Fest and his younger brother Sota Zero Fest. Well, in the past two years, the institution has scheduled concerts in the theater district and some bars in town, but a living self-management was vital to get those years of glory.
Maybe that's why the celebration of this great and awaited news was attended by the cream of Sant Feliu and surroundings. All shoulder snuggling. Xavi Bullitt Calvet serving beers with his usual sympathy, Santi Garcia of No More Lies behind the table by tightening up the sound when not on stage to sing a song with Biscuit, the entire Marvel Pitt giving their all in the front row, and well until ... I lost count! All were familiar faces! And, as might be expected, the room was very small. The occasion and invited groups from We Can Be Lovers that opened on the outside with its surf-rockabilly fun teachers ultramelódicos Biscuit, well worth the effort. They completed the sign Barcelona The mods Meows with excessive solvent and screaming about Swedes who responded to the name of Mary's Kids. In short, a real gap that ended with the singer and guitar of the Biscuit lifted by a crazed mass on wings that led to the same grid. Very crazy.
The next in this new room will enjoy the Hudson Falcons and Independent American Progress (Saturday April 28) Aries and Lazy Juo (Saturday May 12), the Germans Redondo Beat (Thursday May 18) and Annabeth McNamara with OSO (date be determined).

Kottarashky & The Rain Dogs: Demoni
It is 3 years ago, have taken care Kottarashky with her debut for some rethinking. Their album "hey grandpa!" Embodies a completely new view of music from South Europe! The four music enthusiasts from Bulgaria did not really Balkan Beats, whose aim is the dancing crowd in the euphoric madness zutreiben. She herself had once called it Tribal Dance Music Digital - but what do you mean by now?
Cobble in the downbeat tempo range and variety of sound bytes they tinker with the samplers and live instruments together until it becomes a groovy sound mosaic. They love to hear mashup culture to serve at all, but of popular music sources, but to sound broken pieces from all kinds of climates. Balkan folklore. Gypsy Jazz play certainly an important role. The overall concept is reminiscent of DJ Shadow or Amon Tobin - only with their own unique approach. This quartet is one of collage to the factory, no need to contact other unavoidable Balkan Beats producers close or reduce their art to want to go deeper. Exciting, "Demoni" is their second album, all the time!
