Those who were born in the 80s and early twenties are long, and our heroes noventeros are around forty. Some
have left, others have turned to sound, and there are those who make
music for children with his wife while maintaining the type of touring
with his band all vida.Todo together, more or less, what we saw last
night in Madrid .
Presenting
his new album, The Bouncing Souls, legendary New Jersey band that for
all who were there meant something in adolescence, is these days in
Spain. Last night I played the Live Room of the capital. In
the poster, also Dave Hause and a last minute addition: No Use for
Acoustic, paying homage to the recently deceased singer of No Use for a
Name, Tony Sly. In Carabanchel, ten minutes before the doors opened, fell suddenly the flood. Basically, the perfect excuse to get to the room early and enjoy the evening.
And that, at first, we were rather few. No
Use For Acoustic, a duo from Madrid who revisits classic punk rock
sound, were a treat for the ten or twenty who were there: the first
single, with a singer and a bass then versionaron unhurried several
issues No Use For a Name before giving way to the main course of the night: Dave Hause.
Did you say something The Loved Ones? Without being especially popular, the fact is that in 2008, when they came to Madrid, opening for NOFX and surprised. Part of the blame lies with the singer: the small but adrenaline Dave Hause, who for two years, playing solo. Among the ten songs of repertoire was room for two new and three of The Loved Ones, so we were looking forward to more. And that "ok, Madrid, your are the best of the Spanish shows," he posted on his facebook shortly after. Besides apologizing ("are idiots") for not spending more for Spain, promised to return. So be it, for his actual creek.
With the room and in tune, but packed full, Bouncing Souls came out. Would fill?, As filled four years ago today NoFx the Riviera? Would they have completed four years ago Rancid Vistalegre Palace hall instead Vistalegre Palace as they did this year? Is the thing "very sick" or is that Bouncing Souls, despite what they are mythical and his great name, were never mass? I consult with people who saw the last time in this room: correct, without strain. Just like last night.
The
Bouncing Souls are probably the world's frontman frontman least: slim,
dressed in black from top to bottom, Greg Attonito sings "soulless" as
someone in the audience told me. Although any of his companions gives many turns in pose, that does not mean bad. On the contrary: in the end to have his grace. And in any case correctly offered Bouncing Souls expected. Half
an hour refresher classics of the band, starting with Say Anything,
Kids and Heroes and Sing Along Forever to be presented later, gradually,
the newly introduced new references Comet: Infidel, Fast Times, Coin
Toss Girl, perhaps not become classics but not dislike anyone. Less
if, like a gathering of friends, everyone who wanted to could do stage
diving or taking the stage to sing with them, and the pogo was below
that are cool: Small room. Indeed,
there was worldwide with more issues as East Coast Fuck You or
generational anthem True Believers, shortly before six or seven encores
long to close: Private Radio, Gone or new Baptized and Ship in a Bottle.
Behind
them, without more, Attonito and company closed a friendly for all,
memorable for the most dedicated fans, Saturday night.

Muse - Madness
A few days ago we told you about 'Madness', the latest single from Muse finished not convince us the same way he did that other item entitled 'Survival', which will also included in "The 2nd Law" (2 October). To support this latest single from Matt Bellamy's band just released a colorful music video that was directed by Anthony Mandler, audiovisual reputed that once was behind video size 'When You Were Young' by The Killers or 'National Anthem 'Lana del Rey.
For this occasion Muse have shot of a futuristic aesthetic that is very reminiscent of the work magna Ridley Scott - "Blade Runner" - and other great features other "sci fi" of the 80's. The result is well consistent with the idea that we all have the head of a group that an image always looks edgy, and not to a retrograde and classical.
We recall that Muse will be in concert in Madrid on 20 October. All the information you'll find here: Muse Madrid.

The Black Keys premiered the video for 'Little Black Submarines'
The website of the newspaper El País in Spain has just released the new video for 'Little Black Submarine', latest single from acclaimed LP "El Camino" by The Black Keys. In this clip we enjoyed a strong performance by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney at Springwater Supper Club, a local Nashville, over the years, has become a great icon of the American rocker deeper. Willie Nelson and Townes Van Zandt are just some of the famous people who have played music in the club. You can enjoy the video at this link.
The style and the place chosen for the video recording seamlessly adapt to the surrounding dusty halo 'Little Black Submarines'. We love this song, especially in that stretch in which, after the soft acoustic intro, Dan Auerbach unleashes his delirium guitar with some explosive bursts of rock n 'roll.
Would also like to leave you the direct 'Little Black Submarines' (BBC Radio 1 Live) and to remind you that The Black Keys will drop by Madrid for an exceptional live at the Palacio de los Deportes. More info here: The Black Keys Madrid.

The Temper Trap live at the Tonhalle
The Australian rock band The Temper Trap from Melbourne playing a gig on 19/09/2012 at the Tonhalle in Munich. The quartet around vocalist Dougy Mandagi is shortly before the release of 2009 the highly anticipated debut album "Conditions" moved to London - ironic, considering that this album promptly in the freshly abandoned homeland Australia made it into the top 10. International The Temper Trap have mainly through their song "Sweet Disposition" drawn attention to itself. This was used for one of Peugeot and Deichmann for commercials and was also featured on the soundtrack of the movie "500 Days of Summer" with Zoey Deschanel again.
This year The Temper Trap have released a second, self-titled album. In June, they were also already available in two German cities on the stage, but not in Munich. The The Temper Trap are catching on in September. In their luggage they have of course primarily songs from "The Temper Trap". Not lack the first single of this album, "Need Your Love" and "Rabbit Hole" - a song that was already widespread by the band diligently over all possible social media channels.
One of the hallmarks of The Temper Trap is certainly the exceptional voice of Dougy Mandagi. The singer has started his career as a street musician in the way Austarlien - shortly after he emigrated there from Indonesia back. He now lives with his bandmates Lorenzo Silitto (Gitarrre), Jonathon Aherne (bass) and Toby Dundas (drums) as input mentioned in London. Real vagabonds!

Worshipping the surreal world of video from 'Genesis'
With "Oblivion" Grimes, aka Claire Boucher, the breastplate. Now the charismatic artist has again hit Vancouver thanks to the premiere of the video for 'Genesis', a final single LP ("Visions") that has soared in just under a year. The video, which was directed by Grimes itself, can be enjoyed at the end of this article.
The formula is simple: Claire Boucher directing = madness guaranteed. Characters anime aesthetic, pythons, limos, dresses in which you can read the word "Pussy" swords in the desert .... Come on, that 'Genesis' is a surreal production of those that we love. And if they also appear in it figures that remind a lot to those seen in games like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. The thing is most delusional!. Well we like it that way.

Breaking In the GOP Variety Theatre Munich
Heloise Bourgeois and William Underwood on the Chinese Pole - Photo: GOP Variety Theatre Munich
Until 02.09.2012 the show sensation Traumtänzer the GOP is to marvel at Vaudeville Theatre in Munich (we reported about the show and about the ensemble). Yesterday we had the great pleasure to see us Traumtänzer finally live and one was said beforehand: The concept makes its name, because the show is a truly wonderful variety show special experience! We have more than once caught, excitement and enchantment completely drift off into dreamland, which was done by the dream dancers on stage by an impressive mastery of their body.
Whether Heloise Bourgeois and William Underwood on Chinese poles, the duo Draifach (Antonia Modersohn and Sarah Lindermayer) on double cloth, Jochen Schell with his mesmerizing juggling deposits or Ernest Palchykovs handstand acrobatics - without exception all Traumtänzer are absolute masters of their subject and have their individual numbers perfected. This perfection is revealed, for example, in the seamless fusion of all movements with the music, regardless of whether they came from tape or live by the band of the ensemble, the friendly duo Panama Red demonstrated Even the opening of the show by Ernest Palchykov how sound and body can become one. But not only with the music was this exceptional Equilibrist one, but also with the red cloth he knew elegant and extremely expressive simultaneously integrate into his dance. The resulting sight resembled beiweilen the slippery birth of a living model and created an almost surreal atmosphere that permeated through the performances of all his colleagues.
The 'soundtrack' of the show, if you want to call him because that was highlighted at this point again, for the most part instrumental, mostly electronic-inspired works such as "Dex" by edIT, "Infinity" by The XX or The XX Cover " Crystalised "by Gorillaz underlined the fantastic character of the show perfectly.

For the thread caused the Dutch comedian Raymond, whose slapstick, dance, music and magic-deposits have a unique charm that can be compared with any other Central European comedians. The audience was drawn into his diligent with numbers, which was great in the sense that the audience was so shaken up between the artistry numbers always briefly, only to return almost immediately to dive into a dream world.
Best be compared to the work of art dreamer with the state, if one of the morning without an alarm clock will awake even briefly, but then every now and then falls asleep every time and seamlessly ties in with his dream. This show is one of the GOP Variety theater but definitely one of the dreams that make you want to wake up not!
But every dream has to at some point come to an end and so ended this evening with the vaudeville breakneck Viererakrobatikact Crazy Flight juniors. These four Ukrainian youngsters at the age of just 17 to 20 years, shook the audience grande finale again properly monitored and perplexed with precise tricks like double flips and somersaults with dual screw - all beyond compare with an ease and spitzbübigem confidence. The greatest feat of Crazy Flight juniors, however, was all so easy to make it look as if they would dominate their every move in your sleep. And in some ways they do so. Finally, they are dreamer.
Also visit the "Breaking In"! Until 02.09.2012 the GOP Variety Theatre Munich.

Wild bulls that define destinations 'Idaho' Feeder
Feeder not cease in its efforts to promote "Generation Freakshow". After releasing the clips 'Borders' and 'Children Of The Sun' the Welsh again drive another right hook with the video for 'Idaho'. Starring British actor Danny Mays ("Atonement", "The Adventures of Tintin") this production focuses on the story of a man who, madly in love, is forced to mount winning a wild bull in order to see to his beloved American penpal.
"Generation Freakshow" not holy my devotion. Too ups and downs, and more when compared with discs so round "Comfort In Sound" or "Pushing The Senses" where Grant Hill and Taka showed their best manners relating power pop. Nevertheless we would love to see Feeder again by Spain. This amazing concert that gave two years ago at Bikini was so and so memorable that we are praying for some end up becoming Feeder by early next year.Fingers crossed!
